Peter Rehnelt was member of the ISF Football Technical Commission from 1978 to 2002. He was from the founding of the ISF (1972) in connection with the ISF in the function as head of the Austrian delegation in some ISF events. He became a member of the TC Football in 1978 and stayed in the Commission till 2002.

He died in Vienna on the 9^th of October 2009. The ISF is in mourning and wishes courage to the family and to the Austrian school sport.
